The Lancaster Kennel Club, Inc. is offering a $1,000 scholarship for two (2)
veterinary technician students who will be returning for the third term of the
2012 academic year. Applicants should realize that being awarded a scholarship
in any given year does not guarantee that they will receive a scholarship in any
subsequent year. The scholarship is intended for students who anticipate a
career working with small animals (particularly dogs).
The eligible candidate will be selected from the following, in order of
priority:
- Immediate family of a LKC member
- Lancaster County resident
- A resident of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Must be a registered student at one of
the following colleges:
- Wilson College
- Harcum College
- Manor College
- Lehigh Carbon & Northampton Community College
- Johnson College
Completed
applications should be returned in time to be received by the Scholarship
Committee on or before March 23, 2012.
